Photography Rates

Base package - $180

This base package includes:

  • 30min travel time included**

  • 30min set up,

  • 1 hour photoshoot time,

  • 30min pack up,

  • Basic global lightroom image editing,

  • Upload of images for private online access.

  • Delivery of a minimum 20 images

Need to include more round-trip travel time??? I measure from my location at Capalaba and return using Google maps. Ask me for a travel quote - I estimate about $20 per 30min of travel time - and I am often very generous (in your favour).

Other important information

Gear: Standard rate includes Sony Full Frame 42MP Camera, 24 to 70mm f/2.8 lens, 70 to 200 f/2.8 lens, and a one flash set up. Any futher equipment or specialist equiment may incur hire rate costs for the additional equipment.

Image Files: I provide high quality JPEG files as finished product. These will be uploaded and available for you to download within the agreed timeframe, and remain available for you to download for 30 days - at which time they will be taken offline and stored for another three (3) months before being deleted.

Image quantity: I will only provide images that meet my strict quality control - you can expect a minimum of 10 edited images per hour of shooting. In most cases there will be many more - but only if they are of acceptable standard. Any that miss focus, or fail to meet strict standards are immediately deleted and never see the light of day.

Previews: During the shoot I will attempt to provide you progress views so that I can make any ‘on the fly’ adjustments. At the completion of the shoot, if time and conditions permit me to do a quick cull of test shots and missed shots, I will provide a quick post shoot preview to get your feedback prior to editing. If not on-site then this will be done online within 24hrs of the shoot.

Editing: I edit using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and only do general improvements to an image's overall appearance, or remove some major distractions such as a power line in the background, adjustments to brightness, sharpness, contrast, color balance, and cropping. My rates do not include detailed retouching like removing blemishes or smoothing skin. Should you want highly detailed re-touching for skin etc. then this can be arranged at a higher rate and outsourced to a reliable third party. I am a photographer - not a retoucher.

Refunds / reshoots: I aim to provide quality work - therefore if you are unhappy for any reason please let me know in the first instance for a resolution (be it a refund / reshoot / re-edit). If neccesary I am open to an unbiased third party review as agreed to by both parties and if they agree the quality is below standard - an instant full refund will be provided.

Copyright and ownership: All images captured and created by me remain under my copyright. They are released to you for personal use only. This means you can share them on your own personal social media, you can use them to secure modeling work, you can print them (any size) for use in your home or the homes of your immediate family, you can use them on your own personal blog or website. What you cannot do is use them online or offline for commercial use (for profit) without first contacting me for a commercial use agreement. I am very open to expanding rights at a very reasonable rate with prior notice, but any use without prior approval may lead to legal action.
