Studio Photoshoot Collaboration

Wanted: 5-6 photographers / 6 models - minimum of 1 male / MU artist

This is a first in best dressed and I suspect it will fill fast - if the interest is high I will consider doing another a few weeks later, and maybe at regular intervals after that.

Time: All day (9am to 5pm) and not all models need to be there all day - we can work on a schedule for the models to ensure two are on location at any one time.

Location: Woolloongabba (Brisbane)

Cost: $60 each to pay for the studio and equipment. (Any left over money will be donated to cancer research charity).

Equipment: I am paying the studio to use 2 x Godox dp 600 strobe lights (I do have two Sony triggers, or if you work with another system you will need your own Godox compatible trigger that works with your system). There is also a selection of softboxes etc. to use. If you would like to bring your own gear, please label it as yours. And if we all agree and willing to share costs we can hire more. I can also bring my laptop and software for tethering.. But feel free to bring your own..

Food and drinks: BYO but I will provide a 12 pack of bottled water, and depending on how organised I am I may bring some food to share - but don’t rely on it - and feel free to bring a share plate of your own. No alcohol.

Value: This is a collaboration event where we work and learn together, but also aims to give each other maximum exposure. This means:

1. photographers approving at least three (3) images with all models they work with, which the model can freely use on their portfolio, social media, websites, etc.

2. Models approving a minimum of three (3) images for all photographers they work with, which the photographer can freely use on their portfolio, social media, websites, etc.

3. Any use of images on social media, websites, etc. also acknowledges the photographer / model and provides a link back to their prefered online resource (social / website).

4. Failure to comply with these rules will mean you are no longer invited back to any future collaboration events.

5. If you feel that you cannot be open and collaborative, and have a desire to helping each other learn, and grow each others exposure - then this is not the event for you..

Agreement:

• No photographer is to touch a model without first asking them. But it is highly prefered that you ask the model to do it themselves, ask the make up artist, or ask another model (of the same gender) to help them.

• No harsh, rude, sexist, racist, disrespectful, or abusive language of any kind permitted.. Treat the space and each other BETTER than you expect for yourself. I am ex-military and can give and take some harsh interactions - but what is OK for me, may not be ok for someone else. Think before you speak and act.

• No upseting the models - a happy model is always going to give you better results. And it goes without saying, no upsetting the photographers.

• Do not use someone elses personal equipment without asking them first.

• I am forgiving and expect the same - I will always give someone the benefit of doubt for a first minor offence and warn them, but another offence and you may be asked to leave.

• If you cannot ablde with the collaboration values or agreements - then this is not the event for you!!!

• Payment must be made to lock in your position.

• REFUNDS - if you cannot make it and let me know more than 48hrs before - full refund. If it is less than 48hrs and there is someone else willing to pay and take your spot - full refund. Less than 48hrs and nobody willing to take your spot - I will be 100% fair and not in this to make any money - so if all costs are covered you will get a refund (or part refund).
